And I can't write it. D: I've been having a huge writer's block for who knows how long, and even though I wanted to write this thing, it just never happens.

So... I hope it's all right for me to share the basic plot here, so that someone interested might take over and finally write it...

Basically it's my Hetalia-fied version of the Winter and Continuation Wars of Finland and Russia, and the Lapland War of Finland and Germany. (Since I swear we need Finland and Russia interacting in Hetalia ASAP. I mean, Russia acts towards Liet and Finland IRL quite similarly.) The main thing I noticed is that Sweden didn't really help Finland that much when Russia tried to invade us (yes, Finn here) back in 1939... and finally the only country that ended up helping was Germany. In the end, though, Russia declared it would leave Finland alone if we booted Germany out of our country. Btw, during the second war out of three, England kind of declared war on poor Finland, too.

So, plot... we do know that Su-san and Finland are married, correct? Well... that was during the time when Finland was under Swedish rule. But then at one point we transferred under Russian rule, and in Hetalia-verse I see that as Tino having a one-night stand with Ivan. Su-san gets offended and when Ivan starts to stalk Tino, he's not willing to help Tino get rid of him. Then Arthur appears and sides with Ivan (for some very strange reason). ...And finally Ludwig gets pissed off due to something, comes over and offers to help him... but then IVAN gets pissed off and tells Tino to get rid of Ludwig, in exchange of him leaving him alone. ...Tino does so, Ivan kind of leaves him alone and in the end Su-san and Tino somehow make up and get back together.

Well. We've had several requests for that--and for Continuation War stuff, etc.--on the kink meme. And there have been at least one good fic there with Russia/Finland, which addressed the Russian power-play against Sweden (viz. permitting Finnish to be spoken in the duchy, when it was a duchy, to discredit Swedish culture there). If I just had the inspiration to write it, I wouldn't make it a kink-fic. >.> I was thinking more about a humor!fic when I first came up with the idea. XD;; (Tino, being the seemingly shy guy he is, trying to get LUDWIG to leave? XD;;)

Aaah--I see. One-night stand made me think ... but. I can see where that could be more an incident than a centerpiece to the story. (And according to what I've read of the history, it was more like Ludwig wanted out, too, but he couldn't think of a good reason to go. Since he/Germany wanted Russia to think that the Finns were provoking them, and to have access to all that shiny borderland. So even if Tino were reallyreally persuasive, it wouldn't have helped much. XD)

I might be able to do humor, if that's actually what you wanted. I do enjoy writing humor. *grin* Give me a couple days, and we'll see.

Don't forget Finnish War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_War) between Sweden and Russia where Sweden lost Finland to Russia.

Ah, sorry. I just can't see that as "Tino having a one-night stand with Ivan", but more like... well... this (http://world-supremacy.livejournal.com/937.html), so I thought you missed that one part of history. My bad.

Oh, by one-night stand I meant the shortness of the time that Finland spent under Russian rule. ...Finland was part of Sweden for 600 years, while the Russians were here for only one hundred years or so.

To be fair, Sweden did help Finland. The reason Finland is now such a bitter tsundere is that we were hoping for much more than what we got. ^_~

However, as things are now... Finland's independent so does that mean there was a divorce?
