Review - Hetalia volume 4- Tokyopop edition

Hello! I bought the new Hetalia volumes that Right Stuf and Tokyopop released in December. Here you can see some pics of volume 4. The quality of this edition is good, it even includes color pages. I recommed you to buy it if you have a chance. =)

They left the nordics out of the back cover, but they put those historical notes.

Wait, they did not include that part?! I was really looking forward to that comic being in the manga. I hope the colored illustration of the Nordics will compensate for the extra comic they didn't include.

Oh, is that so? Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding. I honestly thought that the extra comic wasn't included. I guess I assumed the extra Nordic comic wasn't included is because I noticed that the extra parts from the original are omitted in the English version. I don't know Tokyopop's reasons for doing this though. For example, the part about the Nordics as chibis and in their Medieval outfits was not included in the English version of Volume 3. I should know because I recently bought Volume 3 of the English version of the manga. I don't really know if the special book (which are just he extra parts) is included both in the regular and the limited editions of the original Japanese manga though.

The cover looks different from the German one. The Chibis are in different positions. Does anybody know why? Which is the original or are both different from the original japanese?

The German cover is like the regular, the American one is different from all of them.

It´s a nice edition, I´m glad we are still getting the manga despite Tokyopop´s problems.

Thank God (or whoever you believe in) for RightStuf. I've heard that Tokyopop is having financial problems.

By the way, I live in the Philippines. This is quite difficult to buy in my country unless you know someone who lives in the US. Good thing for me though, is that I know an online local manga supplier who can buy this for me. Thing is, I have to wait until March for Volume 4 and 5 because it is only thenthat the online manga supplier will get their stock of the manga. I also informed the online manga supplier for the arrival of Volume 6 in Spring.
