romania's only drawn with one fang (that has a habit of switching sides), but if it's a front-one view then it stays on the right. we also got a glimpse at the back of moldova's head, and his hair was much darker. . . not to mention romania's canonically stated that moldova's his little brother.

the thing about moldova is that it's got a lot of stuff that people mistake as romanian and vice versa. or is actually romanian lmao. the moldovan language, for example, is really just another dialect of romanian. it wouldn't surprise me if the little hat/fangs are familial markers a la england's huge eyebrows or the italians' curls. there should always been room for doubt, but that's who i'd put my money on.
