Oh gosh, I really wish they would give the merchandise more different names because we have quite a few other merch already under 'can badge' >A>;;; //all having similar names make it so much harder to find or get info for the older versions;;

I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm not so happy with the art for some of the new merchandise? The characters look kind of 'off' and strange to me? And well, just not as good? But, well, that's just my opinion ;;

And, the Hetalia Spring Bloom Set is once again available online since ACE is over and there seems to be stock left :)

As for your question.... I sort of agree.
Germany looks awkward with a huge head and small face, russia has smallface syndrome, and America and England's faces just look... Off?

Hopefully they'll change from the stock images...

Idk, they've always looked a bit "strange"-- but it seems to be because the new anime style in general is really fluffy. Like their hair and stuff.
Like look at Japan, and once you see everything that's wrong, you'll see it in the others.

Yeah, that's what I've always thought too, they have always looked a bit strange with the new style (especially the chibis) but I just hnnngh //whilst I sort of want them at the same time I'm growing to dislike the new style ''orz
But I'd have to disagree about Japan, I think he's one of the few ones that look decent-ish (at least for this merch) compared to Germany, Russia, America and England ;; Issues with head size/faces etc like eyes being too close or too far etc asdfghjk

Oddly, I'd convinced myself it couldn't be a persimmon just because I'd seen them in too many anime to think they'd relate to a not Japan character. :'D

Well, as an artist I am rather fussy with art no use denying that :"D
I guess it's not so much the art (though the way they did the dodgy airbrush shading of the hair does put me off ''orz) but rather the structure of their eyes/face etc. Like, America's eyes are way too low, same with England; Germany's face, not only for this but various other merch, are way too squished together (moisturise me meme, anyone?); Russia's eyes are too close together and France's are too far apart.
If they fixed those little things with the new art then I'd like it way better and would've ordered :"D //also hence why I haven't really been doing orders for the newer merch as much "orz

Yeah, the new faces are making me nervous as all heck. Especially since they have literally no feedback.
But anyway.

It was Pokemon Mate that made me cave.

I imagine at some point I'll be buying the Reshiram and Zekrom art, either as clearfiles, mugs, or the file boxes. But. I haven't decided which, yet, and definitely don't want all.
Might grab the watch next time it drops under $20 again, too. But. I really have nowhere to put it. Same for the memoblock.

If I ever find out he has a dot sprite strap or golf balls like Touya and Pikachu, I doubt I'll be able to resist those, however. :'D

I think I'm going to stick to just small bits of N merchandise for now—I'll skip out on those full-sized figurines (as pretty as they are *_*) and the more expensive merchandise that I found. XD;; ~~Plus I'm a derp and I don't know which things are Movic and which ones aren't, other than the Pokemon Mate items which I know are from Animate. XD;;;~~ But I got the clearfile that you have, and the anime clearfile that I found, plus I got the keychain that I found... I have a feeling I'm going to cave and end up getting more merchandise for him than just that in the future, though. XD;; But it was just surprising because when I thought "Pokemon merchandise," I always used to think merchandise of pokemon (and maybe of Satoshi, but that's about it). They can apparently make lots of money by sticking N's face on things, so I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually got either of those. XDDD

It's still nothing compared to series that focus on humans, but it's insane compared to earlier gens.

I'm kind of really hoping the same happens for the next gen, too. >o> It's the first time I've ever liked one of the PC designs from the start...
