Summary: UM I haven't posted here in a very very long time (years wow!) and I don't know what I'm thinking having my first official 'back into hetalia' post be something so...horrible and depressing. Also I'm aware South and North Italy would likely not be fully and culturally assimilated until many years in the future, so this comic takes place far in the distance.

When I first saw this on Tumblr, it absolutely broke my heart. I love your art style and the way you use angles and panels to tell the story. It's really powerful, and there isn't a single page in this that's not almost painful to look at, but that's exactly what makes this such a brilliant comic.

Oh, wow, I think I was more than a little sad reading that. You have a real skill with using lines and exressions (or lack of them) to evoke emotion. And it was sweet and bitter at the same time. Nicely done!

Whoa. First off, fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I have to say, I don't see much stuff about S. Italy that is, well, realistic. S. Italy, even now, has problems, even though that's not to say that N. Italy is doing great right now, either. Romano and Veneziano are going to have issues because of that. I love S. Italy (the land), though, and the personification, too. I want some South Italian angst, sometimes, and you did it!

Gah. That was horribly sad. And fantastic. And S. Italy, gah, I love it.
