Hetalia 3- Right Stuff edition review
Hi! I got Right Stuff´s volume 3 and I want to share this little review with you. :)

The three volumes. The design is the same.

Cover

Back cover

Color pages

In the previous volumes, the paper was glossy, like a magazine´s. In the 3rd it´s normal paper.

Inside the manga. The pages are printed on a nicer paper than the one used on the other volumes.

At the end of the manga there are three pages dedicated to fan made bentos.

And it finishes with historical notes.

I quite liked Right Stuff´s edition. It´s pretty nice. Hope they print the rest of the manga. ^^

But. Yeah. Apart from that, it's a step up from the stuff that was only TokyoPop /o/

Yes, I forgot to mention that the cover is glossy. =P
I liked this edition better.

Now, if volumes 1 and 2 could be reprinted like volume 3 but with colour pages. That would make everything perfect. Sadface that they've pretty much guaranteed all print-on-demand will be black and white.

But yeah, I was a little disappointed that the colored images were just printed on normal paper, but other than that this is definitely a step up from the previous two volumes. I probably wouldn't mind buying a 4th or 5th volume. Maybe.
Thanks for posting this review! :D

Hehe, yes, I noticed the 20% cooler reference. =P
Thank you for your comment! <3

I'm still a little sad that the cover doesn't have a pretty pink background like the Japanese edition but oh well c':They did a pretty good job on this one, I even got J. Micheal Tatum to sign mine c:

I don´t miss the pink cover, it´s too bright. =P
Yeah, this edition is quite nice. :)

It´s definitely better. I highly recommend it. :)
The page layouts look fine to me, I don´t have the Japanese edition to compare though.
I only noticed one honorific: Hungary calls Polonia, Po-chan once.

I know a ton of people complained about the pixelated strips, but they were pixelated in the Japanese version, too-- The blame can only be put on the fact that Himaruya didn't save those strips with the intention of putting them on A5 paper.Paper quality is a big step up from TokyoPop's versions of 1 and 2. Content-wise, the layout is still exactly the same as the Japanese version, while translation and thus printed text is still 100% TokyoPop.

All in all, I was on the fence with the technical stuff, but didn't really mind because, hey, third Hetalia volume in english~
My thoughts exactly.
Since I can´t read Japanese, as long as the translation is good and the edition is nice, I don´t care it´s not super high quality.

Will they ever bring them out in England...?
I found volume one on Amazon, but it was in German. :/
