Ahaha I'm not even completely sure what it is, but.



Gentosha's just announced a "Sweets Book", to come out December 22nd~

It's a 64-page recipe book, with a silicon mold. Possibly character shaped?
But beyond that, no idea yet what's in it. Though it mentions illustrations and comics on various pages, I can't say with any certainty whether or not they'll be new.
Some translation help would be awesome.

If anyone's interested, Animate already has it up for preorder here~
The price is a little bit steep (~$27), but, no worse than the calendars.

Fff even if I have absolutely no hope of understanding the recipes, I almost want two copies just to make little character-shaped chocolates. I hope the art set for the molds is adorable. Like the one on that ad or something. ; u ;

I made chocolates a long while back when I first got them and they work out really really well owo
Russia was white chocolate with mint flavouring, and France was dark chocolate with rose flavouring

When I used mine for ice cubes, they insisted on stretching the mold, so they'd freeze into. like. balls. instead of cylinders. I don't even know how.
Does chocolate stretch them at all, or will it actually be nice and stay in the right shape?

Ooh, thanks for the info! It seems that the molds will be in the shape of the allies and axis' faces. It also says that they're going to commission new material (illustrations and manga) from Himaruya for the book portion.

Ha ha, well actually there is a bit of room for interpretation with the word they used. It can either mean "to commission art/writing" or it can simply mean "to write/draw new material", so maybe the latter is what they meant XD Also, I forgot to say this in my original post, but it appears to be a recipe book of sweets from around the world. Not sure if I want to take my chances with it after tasting Japan's versions of most "western style" sweets that I've tried, but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised ^^;
