I have been enjoying this (read it straight through) and I hope you'll update soon!

One other thing... I'm not sure if you've been to the City & places beyond, but If they do go to Coney Island, you can see Nathan's & the amusement park from the subway station, which is outside. Central Park would be fun! ;p Staten Island is nice, you can take the subway or the ferry to get there. ;p They would need a Metrocard & keep that puppy full, cuz there's a lot of subway riding & hopping around from place to place. ;p There's "entertainers" on the cars, on the platforms, *sighs* I have actually done what Gilbert's planning, & it's a lot of fun, but hard to do all of the city in a day, & tough as they, they really don't want to be in certain areas at night. ^^; Heck, there are certain places you don't want to be on the subway during the day! XD

But enough rambling... XD Let's just say I enjoyed your fic, especially the last chappie as it really hit home! :D

Ah! I'm so glad you're enjoying the fic so far! ^^

I've visited the City a few times, most recently when my parents were taking me on the customary Asian College Tour (ooh, look! Another Ivy League college you should apply to!), but other than that, I'm not terribly familiar with the city, so thank you for your advice and feel free to point out any further mistakes! :)

*nods* Yeah, just remember it's huge, it takes time for the subway trains to get there, you can sometimes miss your stop, or get held up & miss a train. I would just make sure that you know that you can go from A to B, but you can't get to C from B unless you go across town & get there from D. *hopes that made sense* And if you have any questions, I'll ask my brother the human GPS, if it's possible. ;p We often do what Gilbert's doing & just go to random places in the city. ;p
