Discussion; quadrants.

I don't know if this is off-topic, if it is please delete. But I'm quite a fan of Homestuck and the romantic quadrant system, explained here. Does anyone else find themselves categorising ships in other fandoms via the quadrants? It's awesome, you get to have at least four ships for each character :) For example, Liechtenstein may have auspisticised between Switzerland and Austria, who may or may not have been moirails or matesprits in their youth.

If this is likely to cause wank I'll take it down, but I thought it could be a fun discussion.

Bela wants <3 with Russia and tends to <3< with Ukraine, but Russia ends up c3< between them [despite wanting <3 with Ukraine, cus IT'S CUTE HUSH] and their quadrants end up falling apart because of it.

Auspisticism is hard to find. I have an sorta-crack ashen ship involving a character who's not on the show - North Koreac3<Swedenc3<America, ever since I heard the US has to go through the Swedish embassy in NK. On a slightly less crack note, someone suggested that Hong Kong auspisticises for China and England, which makes sense to me. I also have my suspicions that Russia's pale for Latvia, and sadly he needs a moirail but keeps scaring Latvia off. Lithuania might be pale for Russia, but he also keeps getting scared off. Poor Russia :( And I also see Rome and Germania as moirails.

Portugal <3 Monaco

Portugal in my head is the female design Himapapa posted as one of the potential ones for them. As to the quadrants, Denmark wants <3 but he always ends up getting <3<. Germany's not the best auspistice for Prussia and Austria but he keeps the relationship functional between the two. America and Japan are just the best moirails who hand out and watch anime together. Portugal and Monaco are my rarepair that has no basis beyond my need to have classy dames together.
