Oh, I'm madly in love with this fic. I've been obsessed with the idea of how Churchill and England would interact, and, you know, allmyheadcanons. I love how this is how it's mean to be: they're serious, not affective in any way, yet you can clearly see not only the respect, but the deep admiration one has for the other. And how Churchill acts with England both as if he was a country and as if he was just a normal person... And I cannot leave beside that quote about animals and being brave and so, oh, it hit me right in the heart. Overall, this is magnificent, really.
