HetaRPG Soundtrack, SINGERS WANTED
I'm helping with the creation of a Hetalia RPG called Memories of Hetalia--I've been making music for the game, and right now I'm working on a track that requires a small choir. If you're a singer and are interested, visit my youtube channel to PM me, or just comment here on Livejournal. (You will be given all the proper credits as well ^^)
If you PM me your email, I'll add you to my list, so when my sample recordings are done, I can send everyone the files that you'll need.
Auditions aren't needed. Just let me know of any choir/singing experience you have, as well as what vocal part you were (alto, soprano), if any. This kind of experience isn't necessary, so long as you can sing on key/on the right note, that's mostly what I care about =D
(If you have any sample of your singing voice on youtube or anywhere else though, please link me to it so I can hear! =) )
The name of the song is "Final Stand," and the choir is reminiscent of Renaissance Italy (complete with Latin lyrics). Aside from this, I may ask the singers to record some wordless vocals to add throughout the song =)
Feel free to comment if you have any questions!

Here's what I told someone else, the basic info:
The song I need vocals for is the climactic song of the game, it's also themed around Renaissance Italy and the Holy Roman Empire, so the lyrics are in Latin--though it's really not that complicated to pronounce =)
In any case, I'll send an email with the lyrics, and a simple pronounciation guide for the words used, as well as an mp3 file of me singing each part so you can hear what the pronounciations (and melodies) sound like. I might also send a file with a basic piano plucking out the melodies, but I think hearing it sung will be the most helpful.
So if you'd like, just send me your email address. I haven't recorded my singing yet because I have a cold on top of allergies, so my voice/throat is in very bad condition at the moment =/ I will be able to record sometime this coming weekend or the following week.

As of right now, there are 3 different vocal parts, and I'd like to have everyone sing each of them--unless one seems too high or too low, you can try all three parts separately, and then I'll mix everything together =)
If you PM me your email, I'll send the materials you'll need sometime in the next couple weeks (meaning the lyrics/translations and vocal samples so you can hear the pronounciations and melodies).

If you PM me your email, I'll be able to give you the lyrics and vocal samples sometimes over the next couple weeks =)
You can send it either through here or my youtube (linked in my initial post).

When I get over my cold and my throat heals, I'll record the samples and then send them to the singers, so if you PM me you're email, hopefully my throat/voice will be better so I can send you what you need sometime next week/weekend.
If it seems too difficult or there are some parts you're having trouble with, just do whatever you think you can do best, that's fine =)

Hopefully both our congestion will be gone by then xD If not, you can have extra time to get your recordings in =)
It's a three part song right now, and I've been telling other singers to just sing all three parts separately and I'll edit them together. If any of the parts are too high or too low, you don't have to sing them, just do what you're comfortable with =)
If you PM me your email, I'll be able to send you the mp3s and lyrics you need when the time comes.
Thanks for your help!

Initially tried not to make the parts too high/low/complicated, because I wasn't sure what collective level of experience for everyone would be. Seems that most of the people who are doing it have some background experience though, so that's good ^^
lol I'm drinking tea as we speak, because I've lost my voice!! The problem is, whenever I get sick, my cough always lingers and my throat bothers me a while after the sickness is gone, it's such a pain. But trust me, you don't want me recording anything yet, it'd sound like a dead frog trying to be pretty xD

I make music entirely by ear, so that's great that you can copy what you hear, since that's how this process will run--I'm going to send recording of all three parts to each of the singers, so they can hear both the latin pronounciation and the notes. (Don't worry, the Latin isn't hard at all, and I'll write in a little pronounciation guide to help just in case xD)
You can PM me your email so I can send you the files you'll need when I'm done recording the samples =)
