A question about the Travelling Book series
On Gentosha Hetalia page,at the bottom of Germany's Travelling Book,it said
"ドイツによく来たな。とりあえず乾杯だ!! これ1冊でドイツ旅行気分が味わえる!?
ヘタリア×旅行本、ドイツ編が遂に登場!!"
And I use Google to translate,Google said that this Germany book will be the last title of Travelling series.
I hope in the summer they will release Russia+Austria but look at this new makes me sad >"<
Can anyone with good Japanese translate this news, please? Thanks a lot

I'm not the best with Japanese but I have a more reliable translator and a dictionary and I can look at the last sentence better. It doesn't say last but at last, as in "Finally."
The last line says "HetaliaxTravel Book, Germany Volume is finally introduced!"
Or something to that effect. Nothing about it being the last in the series. (We haven't even gotten to the rest of the Allies yet! We need to all of them at the least, and I don't think he's covering Japan.)

I've no idea what the traveling series is, but there's nothing about it ending. ;)

Well if that's the case I'm pretty sure there will be a Japan-themed volume? For the foreign fanbase, if nothing else, especially since I notice it hasn't really been prominent domestically.
Actually, now that I think about it, the english fandom is dwindling as well. It seems as though Hetalia has had it's day.
no subject
What do you mean it hasn't been prominent domestically? Unless you mean that people have been changing fandoms then, yeah, but that happens. I feel like a lot of the J-fen slow down's been because we haven't heard from Himaruya in a while and, of course, people moving on to other fandoms.
And I doubt there'll be a Japan one. I doubt there'll be English versions of these--they don't make things for the foreign fanbase and it'd be silly for Himaruya to make a Japanese travel guide for Japan. . . .
Eh. People change fandoms. And the center of the Hetalia fandom seems to have moved to tumblr since LJ is. . .being LJ. It happens.

I still love LJ /clingsUm, why not? /o/ Unless they are very generalized travel guides, in which case I guess they'd already know all there was. But there is a whole heap of Japanese travel guides for Japan in Japan, y'know. c:
Nah, I mean even at it's peak popularity over here, it didn't seem as popular in Japan. I think this was during 2007-2010? Hetalia was huge back then, and I kinda went to Japan with the expectation that it'll be even bigger over there. But nope, nothing really. It actually felt incriminating when picking up manga in Ikebukuro and I felt like I was walking the walk of shame with my copy of Hetalia.
ETA: I remember you. ;D You were my Prussia RPer for a while.

I just don't like that they barely seem to listen to us when they change things. Also this BLINDING LAYOUT which doens't work for half of the users and is migraine-inducing. If this layout could have the old comment page style option I'd've changed it back to that by now.I dunno. It just seems like they'll only be sold there? And I doubt the overseas companies would buy the rights for it, somehow. Fff, really? I guess it seems silly to me because I'd understand if it were a larger country. Then again, there are big differences in the regions there, and then there are a bunch of islands on top of that, so it does make some sense.
Huh! Well, I also see it as being a bit of a very web-centric fandom, and considering what's often considered the subject matter it might not exactly be the sort of thing you'd want to have wildly displayed around? Aah, don't feel ashamed! I wouldn't expect to see people walking around flaunting their love for it(or most things, really) even if it was at it's most popular!
'o' ;o; I-I'm very sad to say I don't remember you ;;;;; But I have a bad memory, and I'm bad at remembering people by username anyway; regardless, it's nice to see you again! Good to see people I've talked to before haven't jumped ship.

There are. c: Japanese adore their culture,
though my cousin thinks it's the boring place ever. I BEG TO DIFFERand I think a Japanese volume would be possible! I've no idea about it being sold overseas, though. I've never bought manga over here. Too expensive. :"OThat's very true. Pixiv is still being bombarded with Hetalia art and it seems like there's a link to some Hetalia related site whatever fandom I'm browsing in. But still, even in Austria it seemed so much more prominent --- there were quite a few Hetaliatards who I knew and they were very vocal about their interests. >_>
Hahha it's alright, it's my new account. I think I was marionetteblue3 at that time. I wouldn't really say I haven't jumped shit yet, but I'm still RPing Hetalia, if I can find people to RP my apparently rare-pairs. :I

;3; You could order it! But then there's the shipping and handling cost along with it, and it'd be just as bad if not worse haha. . . .
Ever since Himaruya stopped posting blog entries Pixiv's been slower and less art's been posted. Even though it's still being bombarded, it's slowed, without a doubt. 'o' That. That's so cute. Why is that so cute to me. ;3; Haha, well when you know someone could share your interests, it's worth getting excited over and spewing excitedly. Imagine you finally meet someone who shares that interest of yours, in person! It must be exciting.
Ooh! Yeah, I remember you, now! /o/
I thought you lived in Australia, not Sweden. Or are you just in Sweden now? Aah, either way, now I remember!I probably won't be going anywhere for quite some time. A-awww. ;3; I'm sure you'll find more people in time. But, yes, finding people to play with can be. . .difficult. A strenuous task.no subject
Yeah. If you order a huuuge shipment, it's still better than buying it locally, I think. c: But I'm heading to Japan this November anyway, so I think I can wait for half a year and a bit.
Hah! That's true. I have a few friends who used to be in the Hetalia fandom with me, and we shared a lot of good times bonding over that.
I do live in Australia! c: This is my Sweden RP account which I turned into my private journal. Yeah, not so much finding people, but finding people who are willing to RP something deeper than what Hetalia offers. Strenuous indeed. Yeah

No, no, the comment part of the comment page. This one (http://i.imgur.com/u1I1W.jpg). The blue bar used to be darker and contrasted more with the white background, as opposed to how it is now(with the settings the way they are.) They haven't changed the rest of the site yet, but they plan to apparently(and hopefully the backlash wil change these plans.) Pffft, I used to not read it, too. Then I realized "hey, sometimes interesting stuff pops up in there" and tuned in a bit more. :| It's really annoying. Sometimes it'll act like it submitted the comment, the page won't reload/go to the full page for the entry, and then it turns out the comment never went through. /o\
Oooh. Have fun! /o/!!
Oh, I see! Sort of like what I did with my main email, when I realized I could have multiple LJ accounts on it. :( Yeah, it's not so easy finding people to do historical or more intricate things. At the expense of sounding stupid, they do require more thought and planning and research, which isn't everyone's forte.
no subject
Oooh, I see. Yes, I'd prefer the previous blue bar, though I just lower my screen's brightness to overcome this? My comment's always seem to have gone through, but sometimes the page would just freeze, giving me a mini heart attack for my lengthier comments.
Thank you. c: I hope to stay there, really.
Yes. Also nobody likes my pairings. ^^ I'm sure it'll be much easier for someone seeking to RP America/England or something. Can't help it, really.
I'D ALSO LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO THE MAKER OF THIS ENTRY skjfhkdjh I'm sorry this is super irresponsibl
I would, but then I know nothing on my screen's the right color. I don't want to have to lower my brightness for one site.
Also OW REDDIT. No, LJ didn't go that far, but they're trying to make it migraine-inducing. The guy who made the new layout wasn't making an effort, he just calls everything he's done genius and dismisses everyone who renounces it(which was most of the site.)
Yeah, the pairings are an issue, too. .-. I'm sure some people like them! Those people just. Might not RP or something.
no subject
Oh! I see, I'm not entirely sure how it works on windows computer but the brightness screen is easily adjusted on mac computers, so I don't mind just for a little while.
Really? D:
Dude, not cool. The guy seriously needs to listen to his patrons.
Heh. My favored pairings were never popular. They are all but non-existent now.
no subject
I think it works differently per monitor. And since I'm using s TV screen as a monitor, it's not so easily accessible.
Yeaah, a lot of LJ was throwing a fit over it. Slowly they're doing stuff about it, luckily, but. . .they still should've listened in the first place.

Surely livejournal didn't fuck up that bad, did it? xD
