Question about hetalia event

Hello, i haven't been following the news of hetalia recently and decided to check it today, but the hetalia event still hasn't had any updates? o_O and more importantly, the blog of himaruya hasn't had any updates, except for some japanese message? i've tried looking for some explanation, but haven't found anything yet. is he alright? D: i'm sorry if this post isn't allowed, i'm not very familiar with these things, so delete if necessary. i'm sorry, i'm just really confused T_T

the last edition of birz contained the usual hetalia comic so he should be fine if he's still publishing it...

Chibi san volume 2 was released on February 24th too so maybe thats why he's been so busy...

anway there's no explanation for his lack of updates

In addition to the above comment, he's also apparently busy with volume 5 of Hetalia.

I'm sure the event just stretched too long and Himaruya himself stopped thinking about it.

Didn't Himaruya get sick or something?
Or has he recovered and is now catching up on other things before tending to the event?

He's been extremely busy in the last few months, not to mention he was ill when he started the Christmas event. He has two books coming out this month (the Germany travel book and Arte Stella Piccolo (though it's unknown if the book will have any new content)), Chibisan Date Volume 2 came out late last month, the monthly Comic Briz strips, the 50 question interviews for Comic Spica and the upcoming volume 5. So yeah, I don't think he has much time for finishing off the Christmas event. I doubt we'll even get an April Fools event this year because of it. I did a small news post about it on Tumblr on the Hetalia Archives blog a few weeks back when we got news of volume 5 being in the works.

Oh, thanks everybody! i was just really worried about his health because i knew he was ill for a while during the event ^_^;
