Oh, I was going to ask if I could make some suggestions on the hyphen use? I know in some places there's not enough room, but a few could be fixed just by moving the word to the next line. Like "gi-ving" looks out of place especially, and also "batt-lefield" would work better as "battle-field". I've been interning at a publisher and I'm picking up their hyphen habits. XD Looks great otherwise!

If it's done in photoshop, it's probably auto-hyphenated, and it can be obnoxious trying to convince PS to do otherwise. That's why a lot of scanlations will split up tsu or shi, which is even weirder.

Yes, you're right with those two - they weren't even auto-hyphenated, it was my own choice orz;; I was pondering a lot over the battlefield word and ended up going for the visual side (the "battle" would otherwise overlap) - I'll pay more attention to it next time! Thanks!

Americans do love their food. especially since it wasn't rationed near as extensively as in Britain it makes sense that they got all the best stuff.

the soldiers eating and getting sick was from D-Day. the brass gave the American troops a special steak dinner the night before that proved too heavy once they got in the boats on the rough seas. it's said to have contributed to some of the casualties.

somehow i'm disappointed that he didn't mention how some American pilots would use their fighter planes to make ice cream by flying the ingredients high up in the atmosphere to freeze it.
