YES! I love the countries as parents and have somehow never found Papa Austria. He looks so handsome and fatherly though, I love it.

Thank you very much! I absolutely love the countries as mommies and daddies, because I seem to find so little of it around. I love the aus/hun + chibitalia + holy rome family (I call them the habsburg family myself), and I adore daddy!uk + america. I can enjoy a lot of the pairs that start out brotherly and that people ship romantically once the younger nation gets older (us/uk, spamano, franada, etc.), but sometimes I just want to see mommies and daddies and their babies :D

Mummies and daddies are my favorite, because it gives them a sense of family which I think is nice to relate to. It's the only chance they get to have a family, so that makes it so much more precious in a way.

Very true; I might like the family dynamic more than the romantic even, it's just too fun and cute! The parent nations get to raise the little ones, teach them about the world and what it means to be a nation for their people, aaaaaakshfkdgfadklsf I can't even take the wonderful adorableness!

Aaaaw, I find it adorable too. I picture papaustria as the kind of stern yet overprotective 'father', mostly because he thought chibitalia was a girl (lol)

I always imagined papaustria as rather stern, sometimes more than he means to be (which is why mama hungary is ready and waiting with hugs whenever needed), but he can also be the sweetest thing, often to the point of spoiling the little ones, especially his little "girl" haha
