Christmas event - translators and scanlators - discussion

Judging from the comments everybody kindly left in the previous post, we should have a decent number of translators and scanlators to cover the whole event in any time of day. Which is wonderful.

Now for the way how to organize this, the easiest solution seems to be a thread here in the hetalia comm where we all could simply comment with posts like

lost_hitsu:
"Taking the next update 11 a.m. JST -  any translators to work with me?"

or

"Translating the current strip, need a scanlation - anybody available?"

etc. etc. I know it will take a bit time to make it work properly but I still want to keep it as simple as possible, so that we don't end up with too many rules that would slow down the work. Things like doublechecking previous strips and discussing about complicated expressions could be also possible with a thread like this, but I guess we'll figure it out once the event will actually start.

I should be online often enough to keep the post more or less updated, although of course I can't make any promises, only that I will try. If anybody else has more experience with this type of events and wants to cover it, I'll be more than happy to leave it to you.

If you have any ideas for improvement or have a completely different, better system, please let me know. As I said all I want is to make our work as efficient and pleasant as possible.

Otherwise have fun with holiday preparations, hopefully see you all during the event!
