Looking for a certain fic...does anyone remember it?

Hiya, everyone. There's a fanfic I'm looking for, but I can't remember the title, or the author. (I know, I know, so helpful... orz)

It was a fic featuring Russia and America (possibly Russia/America?) and it was published no later than 2009. It took place either after the fall of the Soviet Union or near the end, and had Russia going to live with America while he sorts out his personal demons. I remember two things: there was a scene where Russia wasn't used to being left alone, and sat in a quiet room drawing to pass the time, and there also was a part where Russia wasn't used to having plentiful food, so he didn't eat, and then eventually America was able to tempt him to by means of dessert.

I know it's not a lot to go on, but I remember liking it at the time and wishing I could read it again, but I can't find it! Does it sound familiar to anyone?

Do you remember where you found the fic? If it was on the kink meme, russiamerica has a mostly complete list of Russia/America kink meme fills. If not, I could try to search through my rec list and see if it's on there...

Good guess, but I'm 99.5% sure it wasn't on the kink meme (several months ago I was bored/indurstrious and looked through every single fill for stuff to read, and didn't see it there XP) and I think I remember it being on someone's journal.

I'll definitely be checking out that list thoguh; it is Relevant To My Interests. :)

The fic you are describing does sound familiar though I don't know for sure if it's that one since I haven't read it in some time. Either way she has amazing fics lol
