New Year's Day in America is really mild.
They do a countdown, take a day off, and then everything goes back to normal.
It seems like in Russia, depending on location, it's a day off too.
Compared to the West, Asia seems to have cultures that make New Year's and Chinese New Year's very enjoyable.
