[Official] Netherlands and Belgium HFP preview

The Hetalia site updated with the preview of Neth and Belbel's HFP... And seems to be only one song where both characters sing.

I admit I like Bel's voice, a really sweet singing voice... but... Netherlands... damn, I dislike it a lot!!! Sounded too dumb for me (reminded me of Homer Simpson), sorry XDDDD;;;

It's okay, though I would much rather they got separate versions. I also personally was hoping Austria and Sealand would get their own versions for the two remaining, and it looks like that's not going to happen... Hm, well, one or the other might get the last version, but not both...
Also, I'd quite like if Canada got a version (and I've written lyrics to one). Cuba could also use a version, and Norway, Iceland, and Denmark should definitely get their own versions!

Could someone please explain to me what is whit all the whining around this song? Yes, we all have characters we like and characters we don't particularly care about or even dislike, and whenever Himaruya, or Deen or the people who make merchandise or whoever, makes something we'd prefer it be about the characters we like.

Now if this were a second CD of America or Italy or something I'd understand, but these are characters that have basically gotten no attention from Deen and your winning because they get one song? How would you feel if these were characters you liked and people started to say how they don't deserve it, that others should have gotten it instead?

There are people who are happy about this and all the complaining only makes them feel bad. Seriously what is whit this song? It isn't as if when Himaruya makes another strip of the Allies or the Axis people complain how he hasn't done anything about X character for ages...

People are just annoyed that characters who only had one or two lines of dialog in the anime are getting a song before characters (specifically Cuba, Canada, Estonia and Latvia) who had way more screen time

I was actually hoping, like a lot, that these two would get a parade before they announced Hungary and Prussia's. I was sad when they didn't but got really really excited when they announced this one.

I'm a little sad that they're singing it together, because I wanted to separate versions for them... but I'm not going to nitpick over it. At least they got one! <3

Now I just need Canada and Estonia and my life will be complete :D

I do hope in the near future we get more Canada (not just putting up an instrumental HP and calling it Canada's XD) or Cuba. I think everyone should quit whining and wait till their favorite characters get the spotlight again.

I do not see why so many will complain. It is not like they stopped with the songs. I like of Hetalia that many characters get represented. These two not having much in the show and a song only equals out to the others. That, and they are the most requested in Japan for it besides Prussia/Iceland. I will not be surprised if the next set have Iceland/Norway. Himaruya have no choice who makes the songs. Canada did have a line in "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" song too.

Also many seiyuus can sound really different when they sing, so I think I'll wait for Ned to appear again in the anime before I judge his voice :)

It's great that they're doing a duet, if they had single HFPs that would be kind of awkward. I dunno, Belgium sounds far too sweet in this and I actually prefer Netherland's voice

I'm not too huge of a fan of the nyan~ nyan~ diabetes inducing voices that 'moe' girl characters in general have, so I don't particularly care for Belgium's. I honestly thought she'd sound a bit huskier. Her singing voice is okay, but when she's talking....

And I'm ok with Netherlands, mainly because I never really had a preference or even thought about how he would sound. Meh...but I'll wait until the full version is released before I cast my final judgment XD

I see Belgium's seiyuu has dropped the squeaky voice (personally I liked it better in the anime and drama CDs).
Ned's seiyuu doesn't sound very comfortable singing, but he tries :)

En lo personal, me encanta que Holanda y Bélgica sean los que tienen el nuevo Hatafutte Parade. Hay muchos que están en contra, y encima se enojan, y éso me da risa, LOL.

Al final todo se reduce a que el tiempo que haya salido un personaje en el anime no importa (y me hace gracia que haya gente que se pelee por si un personaje merece o no tener una canción...lo que hay que oír). Lo único que importa es la popularidad del pesonaje (independientemente del numero de frases que tenga). Ned y Bélgica son jodidamente populares en Japón, mientras que curiosamente en internet (mayormente fans Estadounidenses) se tiran de los pelos porque Canadá aún no tiene canción :P Es triste, pero lo que manda es el mercado japonés, como ya dije en otro post. Me alegra ver a alguien más que no se siente identificado con las paranoias de la gente ^^ Deen no odia a ningún personaje, simplemente intentan vender dvds XD

Honestly? I like it. I think Belgium's voice is pretty and I have no problem with Netherlands' singing. It actually kinda reminds me of Germany. It's deep and they both have pitch, though I think Netherlands' voice is lacking by just a little.

Eh, and I don't mind that they're getting a song. Though they don't get much attention in the strips or anime, they /are/ part of the Tomato Gang.
Also, if I could choose between Canada/Latvia/whoever the hell else and them, I'd pick Belgium and Netherlands over them any day. Not because of their characters, but because they have decent voices and I'm more concerned about the music sounding nice, instead of the characters. Though, favorite characters are a bonus. >_>

Ahem...it's not the first time I say this but I think this needs reminding.

Why give Netherlands and Belgium a song before other characters when they barely got any lines in the anime?

And Deen sells to the Japanese market. Mystery solved.

Deen doesn't hate any characters, they're just trying to sell their dvds.
Seriously, people should just wait for their favorite characters to appear/sing just like everyone else (how about Korean fans that will never see their nation animated/have an important role in the manga?).

Belgium sounds a lot like Hungary, in my unimportant opinion. And Ned sounds a lot like someone, but I'm at a loss for a name. Either way, it's a song, meaning that Deen is still working on things, so I guess I'm happy.

Too soon to give a final verdict. We already know what they sounded like from the anime, so I'm not surprised. As for Netherlands sounding "dumb", I think he's supposed to sound a little "awkward" because he feels uncomfortable doing things like that. He's the cool guy who usually stays quiet.

I don't get why people are complaining. Maybe they are a little bit hurt their favorite characters didn't get a song, but that doesn't mean these two don't deserve it. I think they have a very unique relationship. Lately they have been getting more and more attention. Like someone else said, it seems they're more popular in Japan compared to some other characters. I personally hardly care for the Baltics. But I'm sure that for the other characters their time will come.
