Greetings + Fanfiction
Hey all, name's world_supremacy and I'm new to LJ! I've been lurking around this community for quite a while, and finally got a backbone (more like got off my lazy ass) and made a LJ account. I'm an absolute history nut (I seriously heart the subject to the extent that I have a US history study guide thing on my bedside table. Yeah, major loser alert ^^; ), so I fell in love with this manga straight away.
Anyway, I hope I haven't turned you off already with my lame introduction, because I come bearing a gift!
Here's a fanfiction for all you Hetalia fans! (As if the title of the post didn't already give it away, lol.) Inspired by both my love for this particular pairing, and a request on the kink meme.
Yes, I'm sorry, I've FAILED to keep my anonymity. OTL
Title: The Sea and the Storm
Author/Artist: world_supremacy
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Sweden, Finland, Russia
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Violence; 'graphic images'; slightly depressing (?); Russia
Summary: Inspired by a post in the kink-meme. Request was:
Basically the events of the Finnish War.
In a nutshell, it was Russia and Sweden fighting over Finland.

Pairing is Sweden x Finland. Because it is just so damn addicting and so inhumanely cute.
And because I also love the pairing, I skimmed the article and bammed this out within a few hours. Would've put it up sooner, but I was proofreading the hell out of it. Still not all that great (faaar from it), but I hope I can at least make OP happy. Thanks for the inspiration, OP!
Oh! And a little note. I'm trying out different writing styles, so not all my written work will contain the same...stylistic elements, I suppose the word is. Here, I use a bit of stream-of-consciousness, so please bear with the run-on sentences (maybe try reading them quickly...for a better effect I suppose).

Cheers!

And...t-thank you for the review! I'm sorry it depressed you! Sweden/Finland is one of my favorite pairings, so I just had to go through with it.
For some reason, I literally gravitate towards any prompts/themes that have angst in them (I swear I'm not emo!), but I'd be more than happy to try to write a happier follow-up!
Again, thanks for the comment :) I'm glad you liked it!
