[discussion] Music and comics? Best combo?

Hey guys, I just read the latest comic with France (so bittersweet~) and by chance I was actually listening to the ratatouille main theme soundtrack.

I swear, it just made it that more bittersweet I was in tears.

Sooo, to the actual question, is there any hetalia comics or strips that are made that much more special with a certain soundtrack or song over it? Like, the song to get the most out of the revolution strips or something familiar...?

Listening to "Graduation" by Vitamin C when Hetaween was wrapping up made me tear up, both for associating it with the end of the event and all of the friends I made during it. ♥

For the latest comic about france I was in tears listening to the Amelie soundtrack ;^; Especially with 'Comptine d'un autre ete L'apres-midi' and 'le moulin' (which means 'the mill', which then reminded me how a mill continues to spin and spin in the same way as long as the current flows...and that made me tear up even more TwT)
Also, it's funny how the Ratatouille theme changed in intensity just when France appeared- it felt awesome! :D

I'm currently working on a new fst, when I was reading France's story (which is also kind of the story of all nation characters I think, for the first time what lots of headcanons on the nature of the nationtans were affirmed)my temporary playlist was open and "All of This Past" by Sarah Bettens was playing it totally fitted the mood.

Not really for a specific comic, but ABBA's "The way old friends do" really fits a lot of emotional moments throughout the series. It also kind of underlines the fandom's togetherness during the events. But then, I am a big ABBA fan. ;)

'The Letter That Never Came' from the Series of Unfortunate Events is one of my go-tos, that I actually got off of a Revolutionary War orchestral FST a while ago. It just has this somber tone and it really works for strips such as these.

Also, 99% of the time I'm reading/writing on the internet I'm listening to the 'A Little Princess' soundtrack (the same movie I got this icon from!) and it's one of the most inspiring things I've ever listened to. It's my most played album on iTunes by a milestone, because it's so peaceful and whimsical and just has this air of "the world isn't quite how we always see it" that I associate with Hetalia. I've been developing an orchestral FST for Hetalia for a awhile now and I keep having to stop myself from putting the entire album on there.

Um... sorry for the novel o_o;

Personally, I think the actual soundtrack for the American Revolution strips (the four tracks, Fate, Memories etc) are absolutely perfect for the story!
