I was just under the impression that mangaka are ridiculously underpaid no matter how successful their series are since it's the publisher that gets most of their earnings. It's possible that Himaruya has other means as well..

Yeah, that's probably a better translation. Not sure what I was really thinking there. I guess I was thinking since Naples has such narrow streets and cars can't really drive there, Romano was saying to use the highway to get around or something. Yeah, I'm not sure where I got that tangent from.
