Welcome to Hetalia World University!

Scenario:

We are a highly selective university located in Washington DC, USA. We select two students (a man and a woman) from every country in the world, and provide a truly diverse international background and global education. Selection for attendance is by recommendation through a student's school and students are judged based on their potential to make a difference on a global scale. Many majors are available, and the curriculum is challenging and thought provoking.

About the RP:

This RP takes place over Facebook and is quite casual. All RPers will be added to a master group in which events and general discussion will take place. Sound interesting? Make sure to read the rules before applying.

RULES:

* Be literate!
*Keep everything PG-13. I cannot guarantee that all RPers are over the age of 18, so please, no NC-17 material.
*If you use fanart in your Facebook album, try to put a link back to the source in the description.
*OCs and genderbends are fine. I do ask, however, that all OCs are based on real nations or micronations. Genderbends count as separate characters from their opposite sex counterparts. For example, if someone is already playing as America, you can still claim fem!America.
* Respect other RPers.
*Try to post at least once a week. If you have to go on hiatus, please say so in a status.
*When creating your profile, list "Hetalia World University" under education.
*You can play up to two characters.

-Loves hockey and Maple syrup more than anything else.
-doesn't really know about his sexual orientation, never really cared
-He quite likes himself, and wished other noticed him a little more; He'd like to have some good friends, though he's a bit awkward when it comes to talking to new people. He's a bit shy but will open up quickly.
-Owns a pet polar bear and legal documents saying he's allowed to keep him (under certain conditions)
-He's bilingual (English and French)
-Overall he rather enjoy a quiet and laid back way of life, and would rather stay out of trouble; he doesn't like violence and will try to act as a peace-keeper (except during a hockey game but that's an entirely different story).

Facts about him/her:
-Loves computers and is quite handy with them, although there's always more to learn.
-Her other major hobby is embroidery and other forms needlework/sewing. She especially does these things when she's nervous.
-While she knows it's kind of silly, she can't stand bugs and insects and the idea of one crawling on her makes her squirm.
-Although she can be quiet in social situations, she was on the debate team in high school and can be very vocal when she strongly believes something or she's asked for her thoughts.
-English is her second language, her first language being German (though her colloquial the Liechtensteiner brand of Swiss German, she knows High German as well).
-She almost always wears a ribbon that was given to her as a gift.
