I'm new in translating djs and I'm doing my best to get it right. Im using Denshi Jisho and babbble fish as well as my word program to write down what they are saying and then placing it in babble fish. This is a pornographic dj, so i cant ask my japanese teacher for help. Any ideas for helping me out with the translating aspect? Babble fish is giving me some weird stuffs and its making it difficult. I have a basic grasp on japanese so its not inpossiable to get it onto paper..but its proving to be difficult to get into english XD TY for all of your help.

My advice is to wait until you have a solid grasp on the language and can easily work through English spelling and grammar as well. Babelfish is notoriously bad as a translator, so you aren't actually translating it.

If you're really set on translating it, I recommend the Japanese community on livejournal. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

My best recommendation, though, would be to pay someone who's fluent in Japanese to translate it, whether at a fandom auction or through the Japanese community.

Best of luck!

I would have to know the pairing and see the art before I make any decisions, but I might be willing to help.

What's the pairing?

I'm no expert in the language myself, but I know I've managed to stare at one book long enough to figure it out. While the person who promised to scan for me to typeset didn't keep to their word, a scanlated copy did show up later, nearly word-for-word what I had done.

So. Given that I think it's possible for me, I can definitely try to help.

It's just going to be entirely dependent on if the pairing can interest me enough to pay attention until it's done.
