I always thought Hong Kong was cute, so I drew him as a Kitty



A buddy of mine just came back from Germany and said all the German guys kept warning him that the Turkish guys who lived there would steal his wallet or beat him up if he went into a Turkish neighborhood after dark. The idea of Germans fearing the Turks made me laugh.

Baha! Actually, I recently came back from Germany and hung out Turkish guys. True, they're a little intimidating, but only because they're loud and rough. I mean, who wouldn't be a little unnerved by a bunch of loud speaking, forward Turkish guys?

And awh! That Cameroon is so cute!

Haha, typical German. It's sad to read that all Germans warned him, some of my best friends are Turkish.
Nevertheless, I love Germany's expression^^ And Cameroon and Hong Kong, why so cute?

It reminds me of here in the US where all the ignorant get scared of black people or Latinos, even though it should be based off an individual, right? Some of my best friends are black and they don't tend to steal from me, haha. But I can't say I've ever even spoken to a Turkish man.

Well, he spent most of his time with German soldiers, so who knows if that changes the way they think or not? I assumed it was mostly coincidence, that plenty of Germans manage to get along just fine with the Turkish. It reminds me of here in the US, the way some whites are scared of blacks or Latinos. I assume everywhere has its own natural racism, and though it is unfortunate I somewhat expect it. Plus, yes, really I just thought it would be funny to draw Germany as nervous, since you rarely see that side of him.

Probably. Too bad that a few individuals always cast a slur at their people. Of course it's stuck in the head if 2 stupid kids beat up a man at the train station - but media never writes or talks about good stuff (too boring, heh.).

Oh, yes, I agree about the media. In general, I view them as a bunch of vultures. On a rare occasion they do good, but mostly they taint people's mind with what you said as an example. Sensationalism, meh.
