Hetalia Spring Meet! [Michigan - Reminder!]
~SPRING TIME IS HERE~
That means it's time for the Hetalia meet for this season! Come and hang out, meet other fans, show off your cosplay, and enjoy a picnic while having fun with old and new friends!
Don't forget your camera~! Pictures are always a must.
Location: Buhr Park - playground area
[2751 Packard Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48103]
Day: Saturday, May 14th
Time: Plan to arrive between 12pm and 1pm
The meet will end between 6pm-8pm, depending on how long people wish to stay.
SO! ON TO THE MAIN EVENT!
In a tip of the hat to the most recent holiday, be sure to pay attention when you arrive to the meet!
Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the playground area and grass--but please! Don't take a ton for yourself. Try to aim for one per-person!
This will be a picnic event! Everyone is asked to bring some sort of dish (perhaps from the country you are dressed as) for the picnic. MAIN DISHES are our main worry; we don't want a meet full of desserts. From sliced fruit to even a container filled with hot-dogs and a loaf of bread for buns.

Regardless, we really, really need volunteers to bring food. The meets usually average 40-60 people, so if everyone brings a little something that could serve 5-10 people, we'd have plenty of food to go around. Keep in mind desserts are a last priority. Hopefully this poster (who will be Prussia) will manage to bring some of the sweet things.
PLEASE, PLEASE BRING FOOD IF YOU CAN!
Better to have too much and take it home than not enough.
Cooking is NOT required. If you wish to bring something store-bought, that is fine too.

Happily, there are picnic shelters as far as we know, so if there's rain, we should be safe. But just in case, bring an umbrella. Michigan is never honest about it's weather, and better to be safe than sorry. After all, rain shots ARE pretty fancy and can be rather nice... Regardless, be safe and bring an umbrella, better safe than sorry.
