Another webcam pic, this one of Barack Obama and America from Axis Powers/World Series Hetalia celebrating the symbolic victory over Al-Quaeda that came with the death of Bin Laden. As a nod to the Navy SEALS who operated in this firefight, I have donned America in Navy SEAL garb (but he's still wearing his kickass bomber jacket.) Anyways, I didn't mean anything anti-Muslim or anything, I just think that the victims of 9/11 and indeed many Americans and others internationally felt justified in his death, and I hope his death will help dileneate some of the unwarranted fear of Islam. USA!

Thanks! I rarely have any of those AMERICA!! FUCK YEAH!! moments, and I was actually against the wars abroad...but I was never sorry for Osama Bin Laden and while I think it's sad his family was dragged through the fight, I also think that him being brought to justice was all America really wanted adn that they needed that sense of closure in NYC. So not being able to go out and cheer, living in Kansas City where none of that went down, it was my own personal way of showing my patriotism.

Yeah, I'd like to something for all the presidents, time permitting. I'm def going to have to do the Truman, but in a funny way as not to ruin the spirit of Hetalia. I was thinking something along the lines of apologizing to a piss-offed and blackfaced, smoking Japan while Truman runs around screaming "I am from Missouri, and you have got to show me," or something. It will be hard to finagle that one ><

Haha, I will definitely work on the Roosevelt one. I was just googling and he also won a peace prize like Obama! He won his for helping end the Russo-Japanese war. So now I want to do the teddy bear thing, then him and Obama comparing peace prizes, then one of him making Japan shake hands...but that's a lot, so let's see what we do.

Ha, I live write within a stone's throw of Independence! I drive by his old house all the time! Yeah, I know how loved he is. I'm actually from KCMO and the Truman Medical Center is where he was born, so we tried to convince her to give him the middle name harry or truman...but she went with teddy, another one of my suggestions.
