Names for Nyotalians?

I thought it'd be fun to share some names each of us may have come up with for the cast of Nyotalia. Thanks to Himaruya, we're free to name them however we want.

For me, I see it as an opportunity to give characters names that are not only politically correct, but also have meaning behind them. Like take North Italy. Feliciano is fine by me, it's Italian and means "happy, fortunate". But his surname is such fail guys. For those of you who don't know, Vargas is a Spanish surname. It's awkward and I think Himaruya used it because of those Vargas Pinups back from WWII. Which is even odder since that was an American thing. That's just my guess. But fandom is too used to Vargas and will most likely keep on using it.

So for his fiercer counterpart, I went through several different names before I decided on Luciana which means "Light" in Italian. As for the surname, Valente comes to mind. Or Vitale. Not very picky, but anything other than Vargas.

And what about the rest of you? What kind of names do you use?
