Doujin translation

I have a lot of doujins in Japanese that I can't understand. Of course I will pay to have them translated but can't find anyone. Any body out there interested?

*cough*

Depends on money, inclusion of Nordics, and timeframe.

If you were okay with, say, the first ones being translated 6 weeks from now (i.e. after my finals), we might be able to talk.

Actually, I'm sorry, but I think I should probably retract this offer for now in light of the other poster and my current abilities.

If you still have things you want translated on June 1, though, or it doesn't work out with kswgric, please let me know. I'd have to probably do a quote based on material, and I'd be charging cheaper due to not owning any sort of typesetting program.

Just FYI, my current rate seems to be about 8-9 pages of Nordics per hour, and I'd probably be charging something between 5-15 dollars per hour, depending on other conditions. Simply speaking, I'd prefer more of a quality-based pricing than a page-based.

Er, and I translated almost the entire artbook in 5 hours or so, so I guess that gives you an idea of the relative speeds. I'm not super-fast, but I like to think that I'm pretty accurate in general.

Anyway, maybe some other time, but right now I don't want to promise you anything because my coursework is really exploding.

If you only want translation but not includes photo editing, I can do it.

First I wonder what you want to do with the translation and how you want it to be done.

Is it pure for personal use just so that you can understand the content? Will you be fine if I just write the translation on a text-file with corresponding order or you have something else in mind? How will you be giving me the doujinshi to translate? How you want to pay? Will you be paying after or before? etc.

I am actually pretty flexible. Think about some detail and shoot me a message instead. I would also like to know what are the fandoms you want to be translated. Of course if you really want to do this, it doesn't really have to be Hetalia-centric.

Hi, I sent you a message ^^

[identity profile] kswgric.livejournal.com 2011-04-05 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, please reply me in message instead, did you receive it?

I can do the photo editing if needed.
In case you want to post to the comm or something.

(and I'll do it for free! 8D)

I botched my last message. Trying again.

If you're still looking in May, shoot me a message! I'm pretty quick, especially if I'm being paid.

If you want something immediate, though, try the help_japan community. There are translators in the everything else sections.

Good luck!

Uh. I think there was a miscommunication. I'm not able to translate anything any more; I'm in grad school, and I'm exceedingly busy... I'm sorry. I started classes in June, and I'm still behind on my other translation project--the one for the interview that I promised to do for this thread. I'm sorry.

I'd love to help you out... But I just don't have the time. If you're willing to pay, though, you could try checking out the Japanese community here on LJ; there may be somebody who's interested. Good luck!

When I said "this thread", I actually meant "the help_japan community" because I got all confused. I haven't had eight hours of sleep in a night for more than three weeks (barring two exceptions), so I'm a little out of it. Sorry.
