Just saw the blog. I was checking this site (www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-03-11/anime/manga/game-industry-members-check-in-after-quake) regularly yesterday to see if he was on the list. Relief and Realism

Yea better news. It was great enough to know that Himaruya was ok but now I am happy that his friends and family are okay as well. I am glad he has a lot of concern for his fans and hope that he is in safe location. For the rest of Japan I hope the people still waiting news about their families can receive some good news.

As a disclaimer if a family does receive bad news then I hope that the families can be able to say proper goodbyes. I heard in Japan that the family can not be at peace until the body is given a proper sendoff, so I hope for good things in that regard also. It's bad enough to lose a family member or friend but not being able to give them a proper goodbye feels even more devastating to me.

Anyway glad Himaruya is ok and praying for the rest of Japan.
