we still have volume 2 in december and at least we got the books in the span of less than a year unlike most releases i know where you get one release every 6 months.

Here's the thing though....Even if I sent in a entry can I still sell my postcard on say a standard paper size poster at a anime con? Or am I liable to be sued because of it? I've asked this question at ANN too, but I want a different opinion on if this is true or not. Do they really have liability rights to your artwork?

As for your fanart, it depends on the rules of the contest. Some companies state in the fine print that it does become the property of the company and they can use it how they see fit.
