According to Amazon, Volume 3 is suppose to be released on May 31,2011 in North America.

well it's not TOO long
we still have volume 2 in december and at least we got the books in the span of less than a year unlike most releases i know where you get one release every 6 months.

There's speculation on the ANN forum for the link posted above that it could possibly be the left overs from the postcard contest Funi had a little whiles back. I really REALLY hope that is not the case....Because that would be cheap of them to do so. Because not matter how good the artwork is...I don't think a lot of people will want to buy a postcard book of fanart.

Here's the thing though....Even if I sent in a entry can I still sell my postcard on say a standard paper size poster at a anime con? Or am I liable to be sued because of it? I've asked this question at ANN too, but I want a different opinion on if this is true or not. Do they really have liability rights to your artwork?

I am hoping that the postcard book is not that. Of course, we would have to ask our Japanese counterparts if there was an official released in Japan.

As for your fanart, it depends on the rules of the contest. Some companies state in the fine print that it does become the property of the company and they can use it how they see fit. You might want to ask Charlene if Funimation has any claim to any submissions for their contests on her Twitter account.

i checked their website...apparently all ideas and such, even if you give them suggestions becomes their property....*sigh*. If I knew that from the beginning I wouldn't have made it so nice.....The thing is the anime cons they were giving out these entry forms are states away from me..So I did't know what was on it.
