First Post: PaperCraft: Switzerland!

Hello! :D (I was planning on my first post being a piece of fanart, but it's taking too long, so...*shrug*)

Well, it's still Saturday in my timezone, and I love relaxing on Saturday with a nice PaperCraft project. |3

Here's a preview of a custom/modified Switzerland ("official" version):





As I was looking over the list of Hetalia PaperCrafts (here: http://www.pixiv.net/index.php?id=315391 ; if you don't have a Pixiv account, here: http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/elfqueen1268/AxisPowersHetalia/PapercraftDollPatterns/ (thanks, hime_chan17 !)), I noticed that the only version of Switzerland available was the one from the comic with Italy. As much as this makes me lol, I was also sad that there was not a normal!Switzerland, so I modified one! :D

D-Don't kill me, it's my first time working with PaperCraft patterns, so...XD;;;; (That's also why he doesn't have his hat. I started working with modifying Sealand's, but it ended up failing epically =____=;;; ) dj_mewmew made an amazing hat for Finland, but you could also use it for Switzerland!

(I ended up using and modifying Austria's coat and arms for the jacket and undershirt. I just took the legs directly. XD;; The only thing I did with Switzerland's head was remove the headband.)

Also, if you're good with making PaperCraft patterns, can you please PM me? I'm trying to make a special version of a character, and for that I need to make a fedora-looking hat, but...it seems like there's nothing I could modify to make that kind of thing, so I'd have to make it myself, but.....@_@ I guess I just need some help in making the original patterns myself. Thank you for making it! It will look cute next to my female!swiss-converted-to-Lichtenstein-doll, lol :'D!! Cuz, there is nothing more relaxing than making papercraft dolls on a saterday/sunday morning x3

Anyways, are you, by chance, making a Mafiatalia? I think I could help you with the hat. I made one in Illustrator, but I have no idea how to make it show up in HTML >< I'm kinda bad with it... Could I email it to you instead?

Well, I always just cut out the shapes, then follow the folding instructions in the lower-right corner. Then I glue the tabs onto the folds, and the whole pieces onto the other whole pieces, so...

Maybe I could make a step-by-step thing on YouTube? :D
