[Official Site] New Version of Book 3

Hidekaz-sensei updated his profile again! From what I could gather, it looks like he's immersed himself in editing the third book, but he's also included something new you can get if you buy the new edition. It looks like something to do with Russia!

(He also mentions something about how cool translations are. Haha, what?)

The actual page

Sorry if this was posted before, but I didn't see anything about it in pages back.

Edit: Ah, it's Taiwan's version and it comes with a special paper plate of the Allies for cups. Man, how come we didn't get them?

Ah... that's Taiwanese version of the third volume of Hetalia.
The Taiwanese edition includes a paper plate used for cups. The pictures are the Allied Forces. XD

Yes these books come with a special paper cup plate in random!
But only the first published books have these special gifts!
And if you preordered the special ediction, you'll get a Prussia one!
Btw, I have the Iggy and Prussia one! >_0

As for the great translation, it's all about the word "Hetalia".
In Chinese, Italy is called 義大利.
And Heta, in Japanese means Silly, has translated into 呆(Silly in Chinese.)
Because of the pronunciation between 大(Dà) and 呆(Dāi) is quite familiar in Chinese. So the translation replace 大 into 呆, than you'll get 義呆利. What means Silly Italia, it has the same meaning with HETALIA!

I remembered how surprised I was when I saw the special edition for Book 3 in Taiwan this summer and bought it right away. ^^ I got a Prussia and France~ It was a very pleasant surprise =D

Ya before I was wondering for a very long time on what 'Hetalia' in Chinese would be and after I saw this I thought it was a pretty clever and accurate idea xD
