According to Tokyopop's Facebook page:

Volume one of Hetalia: Axis Powers first editions have officially sold out. ( I believe this statement reflects US editions. Not too sure on UK editions.)

I found mine on the shelves at Books a Million before the release date and it was the only copy... I grabbed that book before someone put their greasy hands all over it...

When you say low-res, are you talking about pixelated comics? Like America's Storage Cleaning & the Austrian Succession comics? That's because the original comic strip was saved in a low dpi, and when they blew it up for publishing it made the quality a little worse. It's like that too in the original manga volume.

It's unfortunate, but Himaruyasan didn't re-draw those comic strips so...no can do ^^;

I lent my copy to a normalfag friend of mine. She was pleased.

I handed it to her during class all wrapped up. She asked me what it was hidden for, and I wisely told her she must always hide her power level, and that is what she did. I am very proud.
