[Fanfic Drabbles] Netherlands - Song
Title: Netherlands - Song Drabbles
Author/Artist: moogles4ever
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Netherlands (Mentions of Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, France, England and America.) Pairings: Netherlands/Estonia, Netherlands/Denmark.
Rating: G - Nothing goes farther than kissing.
Warnings: Kissing?
Summary: A series of drabbles involving The Netherlands. I wrote them as part of a challenge I saw earlier on the community today. I do hope you enjoy them =)
Instructions
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
Character - Netherlands from Hetalia
1. Bulletproof - La Roux
He stared down at his sister. Was she seriously challenging him? It was funny, how she thought that she could revolt from him, of all people. He was the one that took care of her, formed a kingdom so that everyone could be happy together, away from that Spanish bastard. Now here she was, sword drawn in front of him, as if he was actually penetrable.
“Zuster, we both know it would be better if you didn't.”
A harsh glare, apparently she was prepared for this. Oh well, she wasn't powerful enough to take him down. He would love to see her try, and then everything would be back to normal, like in his ideal.
2.Telephone - Lady GaGa ft. Beyonce
He hated to admit it, but he wasn't the best when it came to electronics. So as his damn phone kept ringing, he was getting a headache. Text messages, phonecalls, they were all coming in too fast. After a quick groan, he finally decided to check one of these messages.
It wasn't everyday that he smiled, but the way Kiku typed that all out was... well he wasn't really fond of “cute” things, but he could definitely get into this. Even as they were both such busy countries, the other took the time to wish him a good day. Did he do this to everyone? It didn't matter, he supposed.
3.Red Stars – The Birthday Massacre
Lots of people at the summit just thought that he was a stupid druggie. Well, there was a lot deeper to him than that. He figured that they all just forgot that he was one of the biggest world powers at one point. Well, he considered himself to be a huge power. He did go around sailing, checking around the world, seeing all the sites.
So they all forget that he's a lot smarter than he puts out. Tactically, he could possibly one of the highest nations up there. Better than England and America, that's for sure. Now if only they could stop bickering, christ.
4.Underneath It All - No Doubt
“Heh, you're just a huge softy, ya know that?” The albino jeered at the dutchman. It was weird, it wasn't like Lars had ever did anything to him. What the hell was his problem?
“That faggot Spain told me he put you in dresses too.” Again, he mocked the taller one.
Oh well, it seemed like someone's jaw was going to get broken, and it wasn't his own. Look out Prussia, your days are numbered. Lars smiled, it was too morbid of a thought, upon further reflection.
5.Must Have Done Something Right - Relient K
So, apparently nobody really approved when Lars took a fondness to Eduard. Yeah, people were shocked that the tall nation would actually fall in love with the smaller one. Well, they were both made for each other, everyone else couldn't understand. 'Fuck em' is Lars could said. He's with the one he loved, and they were both turning each other into better people, better nations. Hey, he must have done something good to snag a cutie like Eduard.
6.The Shot Heard 'Round The World – BoysLikeGirls
There's no such thing as a miracle. Well, he would hope that there was one right now. He just felt so horribly nauseous. It was the flooding... it made him sick. His stomach growled again, he wanted to throw up. It would only effect him this badly, wouldn't it? Well, eventually the water would drain out, and he'd feel better.
7.Cloud Nine – Evanescence
He could still remember the first time he smoked weed. He was pretty small, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Stupidity, is how one could have put it. On the other hand, everybody would have a morbid fascination with it at some point, right? Him, personally, would never regret the decision. It was a part of his lifestyle now. It's how he lived his life. There would always be prudes, they just need to try it. He took another deep breath in from the pipe. He still didn't regret it, even after all these years. If only he would get as dedicated with something else.
8.Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) – Shakira.
How? How the hell did he lose, to that sunny bastard of all people? It was his year, not Spain's. Hell, Spain even lost to Switzerland. How the hell do you lose to Switzerland? Shameful, and he hadn't even lost a single game to date. He was angry, especially as the other one just celebrated, expecting him to join in. Join in for what, losing? That wasn't very smart, was it?
“Come on Hollanda, you are the second best in the world!”
When he put it that way, it sounded pretty damn good. Maybe he'd celebrate, if only this one time. Next time it was going to be him in the spotlight, not the other. Yes, he was sure of it.
9.Take A Shot – The Millionaires
Ok, so maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to try hook up with Denmark of all people, especially when they were both drunk. Well, nations have needs too, don't judge him too much. Besides, Lars was usually tame when it came to drunk nations at the bar... which is much better than say Francis, who probably drugged someones drink within five minutes.
“Fuck, yer kisses are sloppy.” Ok, don't hit on Denmark again.
10.Turn It Off – Paramore
He sighed. Part of him absolutely hated being a nation. Weird, since some of the others really seemed to enjoy it. Well, he didn't. You have to go through war, famines, blood, revolution, all of those horrible things. He's lived too long, there was probably nothing in the world that could scare him anymore. Even if he could find good memories, they would always be overshadowed by the bad ones. Why, why was he the one subjected to this? Couldn't he just turn it off? No, he must have just been thinking about it too hard. Besides, he was probably pretty well off as a nation. He wasn't one of the former soviets captured by Russia... that would've just been damn weird. Maybe things would get better, even if only a little.
