[cosplay] Axis Powers Photoshoot!

First off, just wanted to give a thank you to everyone's kind words on our Everyone's A Little Bit Racist skit from Anime Next. They were all very appreciated...for those who asked, I will have the audio track and a blooper reel uploaded eventually!

But for now I actually have a few photoshoots I wanted to upload from this con...and here is the first one! My boy creature (madgophermm5) and I did Germany and N. Italy, with our friend Henry (siefer_sama) as Japan. We had a blast being the Axis trio! Italy was made by myself, Germany and Japan's pants by my husband. These pictures also include guest appearances by Prussia (rammyz). Be warned, there is a chunk of GerIta and a bit of GerPru! Plus beware of one suggestive shot (though it is still rather silly.)

I remember seeing a male Hetalia cosplayers at the London MCM expo. Except he was a middle aged men with a beer belly...

This Germany is perfect (maybe a little bit on the older side), sure he's not bishounen, but Germany is not suppose to be a bishounen...

But everyone looked great <3 Germany just caught my eye because it's a first time for me seeing a guy cosplaying as him.

I've seen a few other male Hetalia cosplayers, mostly in pictures but one or two in person. Germany and America are usually the ones you see done. But even then, its a rarity, and like you mentioned about the one at MCM, they're not always the cream of the crop in the looks department.

There's no denying he can definitely pull DOOOOOIIIITTSSSSSSUUUU here off. The first time he stepped out wearing that costume it was scary..

LOL, they are not real, they're theatrical ones spirit gummed on! At one point, my husband did have side burns for Zoro from One Piece, however, they proved to be problematic for other costumes, because they would stick out. For ones like Germany, forget it, he wouldn't have been able to do America (or most other characters) without shaving them off. And then he wouldn't be able to do Germany again until they regrew out!

Luckily the theatrical ones seem to do the trick AND allow him to change into other characters! ;-)

Haha I can imagine! Side-burns are the height of awesome in my opinion but they do restrict cosplay so! Still you both look fantastic =DDD!
