[Game] World Academy *fangame* Suggestions Please!

Well, down to business. XD

There are some features I already know that I want to include in the game like:
-Club system *you know, school clubs*
-Partner/Ex system
-Heart levels and Heart Events *Harvest Moon reference much?*
-maybe homework... It is a school for Pete's sake!
-a CG gallery
-possible expansion editions

These are just some of my starting ideas I've already got mostly pinned down. However, I want to know your guys' opinions on these features and what kind of features you'd like me to think about and possible add!

One in particular I was looking at was adding Rival Events, like two other characters having a romantic event and you, being arrogant Gilbert, walk in and observe or maybe even have a hand in. Perhaps, after enough of those, making the two characters now unobtainable by the player. What do you guys think? Also what pairings would you guys like to see if I were to do that? I know Gertalia and SpaMano, but anything else? No Nordics in the first edition of the game, so no Sweden/Finland yet!

However, this is your chance to share anything you want me to know about! Any suggestions of any kind are welcome! Even if you have an interesting bit of headcanon to share that you think I might be able to use, throw it out there! Rinara is all ears *well eyes since this is text*.

Also,  I may> be recruiting a couple of positions to help me with the production since I get writer's block at many intervals... Don't get too excited though.

Possible Jobs
-Background artist *This one is special because I have the pictures taken, I just need them manipulated properly because I keep having fails at it*
-Path writers *PM me or e-mail me and we'll talk about it.*

I do not need another CG or sprite artist, thank you anyway as I appreciate your support! If you like the art you see in game, thank magenta_tan .

Furthermore, because I keep thinking of things to tell you guys, the demo/preview will not have any of the awesome bells or whistles that the actual release of the game will have. It is pretty much just me joking around with the sprites, a CG, and music. The preview is meant as a gag as opposed to a proper demo. I may actually come up with a good demo for you at some point, but it will be a fairly long wait. *I'm sorry!*

Currently, I don't know. I'm think at least 10 to be safe and they just need to be altered to look less photographic and such *which I can't seem to find a way that I like*. I'm not sure yet since obviously the game is nowhere near finished. I've been taking the actual photographs myself, some from my neighborhood and from my local community college *even though it's set in a high school* unless I decide to actually visit my local high school for pics. *rambles on* Well, yes, what was the point I was getting at? Oh yes, probably many pictures without too much effort on each. =^.^=

|D This is rather random, but um, have you ever heard of the game Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3? When you mentioned clubs, it kind of reminded me of it because P3 takes place (mostly) at school where you can pick which club(s) that you want to join, and from those clubs you meet people/gain social links, whose relationship you can build on throughout the game. I kind of absolutely love how P3 works, so the clubs, heart levels, and homework/studying is a total yes for me!

Ahhh, I'd suggest pairings for the Rival Events that you were talking about, but I kind of really only see the really super canon pairings, like GerIta and Poland/Liet, but that's just my opinion, and also the Baltic nations(explanation in one word: Russia) if they're included, not having any interest at all for an actual relationship with Gilbert. |D''
.. and speaking of pairings. Is um, Canada going to be one of those people who can be paired up with Prussia? :'D just asking because I adore him, but in a lot of those games.. he seems to be left out

I like the idea of a rival event. Though, I think you should make it something totally random. Just because a lot of the really popular canon, Like ItaGerm and Sparo, people also ship them with Gilbert. Like, there's a ton of PruTalia, and PruMano. Also, there are a lot of people that like Germancest. So maybe an odd paring might work better for the Rival event...like nations that aren't shipped with Gilbo normally. Like, maybe do Korea/China, or Japan/Estonia....or something equally as cracky.

Just because I know some people would be sad to see Italy or Germany not be an option.

Thanks, but Sealand won't be in the first release, especially because he's rather young. I don't think I'll have either him or Ravis as potential partners since they would just be in junior high in the timeline I'm using. They might make appearances though, like be family members *obviously with little Peter*

OH HARVEST MOON~ I use to be obsessed with that game...

The whole school club idea reminds me of the Tokimeki Memorial games. And like if you don't go to your club at least once a month, you get kicked out ahahah.
