DUDE!!!!!

DID ANY ONE ELSE NOTICE THIS!?!?
Alright so well i was watching the subs funimation has and while watching the ending for once you can actually clearly see it I decided to pause it out of a whim and see who all is exactly on it and well I made a small discovery that didn't match up.....

I saw Sweden's Uniform but who was in it  looked nothing like him!!!
Goes back to make sure I'm not crazy
Did anyone else notice this, the person that's suppose to be Sweden has brown hair and defiantly not blue eyes. Does anyone know the reason behind this,  or is this like what almost happened with chibi!Prussia in episode one of the world series?

Sweden has only appeared in the anime once and yes, he had brown hair and eyes. For whatever reason.

BUT.

Manga!Sweden is blond and blue eyed. See here - http://blog-imgs-24-origin.fc2.com/h/i/m/himaruya/kieee.jpg

Studio DEEN likes doing stuff like that.

The likely thing that happened is that they made the Brown/Brown decision after they made the ending, which was one of the first things they made. Thus. Blonde/Blue Sweden in the ending.

He also appears as a little speech bubble-floating-head in the episode with the supermarket. Finland and he are in line, Berwald says something along the lines of: "What a peaceful day it is today!" and is laughing a bit too, then Tino asks if he wants to hear a funny joke..

Yeah but we totally get to hear his voice, no lie

He was in it a time other than the supermarket? Oh right. The world meeting.

I-I just. God. They messed up Sweden in the anime. Manga!Sweden would never laugh like that.

I have to admit however, I really do like the voice they picked out for him - that imo they did not completely butcher. Weren't his eyes brown? Yeah, that needs to go dammit DEEN they're just not the same. HIS EYES MUST BE PIERCING SCANDINAVIAN ICEY DAGGERS.

(I won't deny it.. I still fangirl over his two brief appearances)

they messed up the colour rendering for Vampire Knight Guilty the other time LOL. They made Ruka's hair & eye colour to be the same as Rima's hair & eye colours. It was a major LOL moment

Usually the reason why they switch hair colours on characters, are usually because so the audience can seperate the characters from each other. It also makes the major characters more recognizable. Sometimes, I understand why do this, such as in shoujo series where the characters are way to similar to each other. Other times, it's not especially understandable at all. Like Sweden, because if anything, they just made him look more like US.

I did notice this before, since he looks like this in the first episode, too.

I'm just writing, because... now *I* am confused... WHAT did almost happen with Chibi!Prussia O_o?

...Wait, they were going to do something to chibi!Prussia? *not in the loop*

Sweden's hair being darker probably wouldn't be so bad if they left his eye color. But to be honest, what gets me even more than Sweden's recoloring is Finland's -- bright yellow blond with dark brown eyes? What the hell is that?
