I'm interested in what you guys like to call Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Why am I asking? Because I'm putting them in my Sims game and I need to give them a name. 

Is there any fan!canon surrounding the names of these characters? Are there any official names that I don't know of? Anything like that~

I've seen Denmark being called Mathias quite often.

Those are the names I usually use;

Denmark; Mathias
Norway; Haakon, Christian, Lucas
Iceland; Einar
Iceland's bird; Lundar ('puffin' in icelandic)

All those are fanfic/roleplay-based.

I think the fan canon name for Denmark was Matthias?
Also, someone mentioned something about Lucas being a name for Norway, but I don't know for sure.

No Kaoru's not a Chinese name, tho you can still read the kanji in Chinese.

Hong Kong means "incense/fragrant harbour" in Chinese, and Kaoru means "fragrance/incense" in Japanese. So, some people just choose to call him that.

Hong Kong I've heard ppl call him Kaoru or Horace lol. I just straight up call him Hong or Xiang. lol...It works XD.

Or if you want a more old fashioned name:

I have no idea for one, but it's ok for Hong Kong to have an English given name... though he probably didn't start out with one, he would have adopted one for use in English since it is still one of his official languages.

For ex. a lot of HKers would write their name like this in English: James Ka Ming Cheung, James as the English given name Cheung the surname, Cheung Ka Ming is his full Chinese name, ect... but don't use my example Cheung Ka Ming is a horribly boring Chinese name lol.

On the topic of unoffical names, I have heard people calling Holland "Lars". Not sure if is canon, who knows but I stick with that name for him :'D

I could also see Norway being Christian/Kristian considering how its the most religious out of all the Scandinavian countries

Uh.. I usually just call them by thier country name if they dont have human names.. but here's some..

Denmark - Mathias
Norway - Lars
Thailand - Niran (means Forever. Another one I keep seeing is Aroon, meaning Dawn)
