[FANART] Novel Fan Arts

Title: "The Separation" in Hetalia Style
Artist: Sapphire Pyro
Characters: England, America, Germany, Italy
Summary: currently reading a novel entitled "The Separation" by Christopher Priest. It's about british twin boys during the second world war. Being a sucker for twins stuff and a huge fan of Hetalia, this is fanservice to me xD So I drew several events of it: Two Arthurs, Feliciano being Feliciano, Ludwig vs Arthur, and Alfred saving Arthur.

Here we go:

One of the twins in the novel is a pilot and the other's a staff in the Red Cross. I have no idea what their uniforms look like so I just drew them as Arthur in military uniform and in one of his civilian/casual clothes. Since they're British, I imagined them as Arthurs of course xD However, based on from what I remember of their physical build in the book, their bodies are supposedly like Alfred's or Ludwig's ^^; But oh well xD

Since the book is set in WWII, of course there are mentions of stuff that have something to do with the Axis Powers and Allied Forces. Well, in one part it was mentioned that Italy hadn't been a very reliable ally to Germany (can't remember the exact words ^^;) and upon reading the part it made me squee: "OMG! FELICIANO!!!! xD HETALIA!!! SQUEEE!!!!" No offence intended to Italians, okayz ^^;

Several events in the novel centered during the Battle of Britain, so of course I imagined a Ludwig versus Arthur thing xD Unfortunately, when I attempted to draw a fight scene, it sucked big time x_x So I drew them that way instead. It now had the Blue versus Green kind of theme ^^;

This one's my personal favorite xD (and yes, my addiction to Alfred + Arthur interactions had something to do with it xD) It's based on the scene when one of the twins (the soldier one) was caught and imprisoned in a German camp. He and the other guys imprisoned were later saved by American troops xD Oh that scene came to my mind when I read that part xD
Though supposedly Arthur's not beaten up like that ^^; Because the character was saved years later, which he should have recovered from the wounds already ^^; And of course, those lines weren't really said in the novel ^^; But I would like Alfred to be Alfred and Arthur to be Arthur xD LOL! I know that the "What took you so long?" line is freakin' overused, but I still love it xD Haha!

Alright, that's all for now xD I'm beginning to have a new habit, and that is making Hetalia version fanarts of novels I read or shows that I watch xD Haha! And this is the first one xD Hehe.
