[COSPLAY] Punk rock Igiko
I attended a local con (GACC2009) last weekend and I've just only got most of the pictures from the photographers that attended.
Since I'm a HUGE UK fan, I thought I would do the punk rocker version of Igiko (instead of the regular school girl version). I made a cardboard electric guitar to go with the costume, using Featherweight's amazing tutorial. It took me about 3 weeks to make the guitar but it was all worth it because it turned out really solid, enough for me to handle it without a strap.

I already owned all the clothing for this costume (shirt, skirt and shoes). I borrowed the skinny tie and I bought some pins (Union Jack and City of London) for my collar which you can see below. This is one of my cheapest and most comfy costumes to wear.

It's my first time to style a short wig and wear one. Hopefully I got UK's messy style down right. I added a diamante bobby pin to make the look more girly and to hold the side bangs in place. My only problem was all my natural neck fluff showing at the back. I've been recommended to use eyelash glue to hold it in by someone on this comm. How much would I need to use?
On to the pictures:

These are from my own camera. They are all a bit blurry though.

^ With the other Hetalia cosplayers. Most of them didn't really know who I was cosplaying. XD The Finland cosplayer was really adorable! And so was the Japan: so short! 8D

^ I tried to pose like this artwork of mine. I could only do it at the end of the con because it made my wig start to slip.
