I'm never sure whether to colour Iceland's eyes purple or blue. I like the purple, but it kinda makes him look like a younger and girlier Prussia. >< A lot of the inspiration came from listening Björk's "Army Of Me (Tricky Remix)" and other Nordic techno shared by ecchipiro over here. The colouring nearly killed me. D: His hair alone required some 20 layers to get it right.

Bought a new, bigger block of watercolour paper and wanted to break it in. XD диктатура means "dictatorship" if the library dictionary is to trust... I hope I got it right. (God, what happened to the colours? I hate my scanner. D:)

I already did one illustration from greeneyedlady's almost-legendary-already fic Outcast, but the latest chapter prompted me to draw more. XD I can't find a good spot to quote for this picture, but it's meant to be from Berwald's POV when Torvald has taken over his body, and he's trying to call for Tino... Yush. Weird mindfuck. XD And dude, what happened to his hand? I tried to make it look more manly but it just ended up... kinda gnarly. XD


(Three crowns and lily of the valley? Look at me being symbolic.) And these two (okay, at least the first, the second one I drew because Sweden looked so lonely alone XD) I drew with the Swedish animation Resan till Melonia in mind. I've loved that movie since I was a kid, but have yet to meet anyone outside my family who has seen it. ;_; "Österland", like most the people here probably know already, refers to Finland during Sweden's reign (thus the title translates to "journey to Finland/Eastern land"). Yeah, the two pictures can't quite be matched together because I thought of the backgrounds too late. Drawn with ink, watersoluble pencils and watercolour.
