Native speakers needed? (community project)

So we all saw the awesome that is the video with the characters speaking in their own launges.
Unfortunately this movie had some rather  weird voices. so I am asking if there are any native speakers who would be intrested in voice acting!  I want to put some videos together with each of them speaking in their orginal laungae, only instead of the the block machanical tones ,we get to hear real humans speaking.
Anyway, if your intrested, I.E. you speak one of the languages in Hetalia, please comment or Email me at Darksideofthetree@yahoo.com
we will see if we have a enough  intrest.
ATTENTION
DUE TO THE EFF'ING WIN AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME FORWARD I HAVE LOST TRACK OF WHOM I HAVE PUT DOWN AS WHO. IF I HAVE CONFIRMED YOU A SPOT PLEASE SOUND OFF IN THE COMMENTS WITH WHICH PART I HAVE CONFIRMED.

I'd love to but I don't have a mic D;

...I'm not a native speaker of anything outside English, but I'm good with linguistic mutations and can adopt various pronunciations rather easily. (I have a lot of Germanic influences in my family and language for example, and I'm currently studying the East Asian and Germanic language families. I could probably do base translations myself of several lines.)

...And I'm male and can do various types of voices... but idk.

I'm sending you an email now

Female, American, and I have a mic. I just fail at doing guy voices. *dunno if that's what you're looking for* I can try a British accent, although I think I'm going to need a lot of practice with that. ._.

There are already two videos where native speakers recorded lines of their respective countries in their first language. I don't have links at the moment but you can find them on Youtube and Nicovideo. It's not a proper dub but it's educational nevertheless. :D

Why, yes I do. I just still need to get it adjusted for better sound because it's kind of crap.

[identity profile] wohdin.livejournal.com 2009-08-02 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
...Question, though. Are we just like, taking lines from the strips? Dubbing over the animu? I'm concerned about the format.

...If I can invoke any of that lost knowledge from my rudimentary Russian classes I might try Ivan. Maybe. (In the instance that there is not an actual native person to do Ivan, which I actually doubt.)

Oh, so you meant those... I got confused by "block mechanical tones" and "not real humans." For what it's worth, I don't think the voices in those videos are weird or particularly mechanic (some of them are pretty nice voices, IMO), but if you don't agree and want to do a more voice-acting oriented project... well, go ahead. :3

...Awesome. XD I've always wanted to be a stick in the mud. :3

Are you talking about this video, kuromitsu? The non-robotic voices version...

[identity profile] mcmitters.livejournal.com 2009-08-02 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Well it seems you already have English speakers. Oh darn. Well if you ever need any extras, I'd be happy to help. :P
