I was doodling on Opencanvas today and, while procrastinating on my nationslash duties, I began to do something I had in mind for a while: breaking style with Hetalia. And so I decided to render Hetalia countries in a more cartoony style.

One thing that's always irked me, only so slightly, is that Hetalia doesn't have a lot of physical differentiation (understandable, they're all handsome guys, but...) So I decided to push the figures a bit closer to the limit. With America, I decided to go for long, ovoid shapes, to make him look lanky, tall, but not HUGE. England has a stockier build (he's mostly made of squares) and thicker limbs, and Russia would of course be HUGE, proportionately.

Russia is all: "Hey guys! How about play a game of roulette, my style! The more of us we play, the more fun it is! I go first! *click* Oh! I guess I won. Okay, who's going to go next? :D"

This is a sketch of course. There's some MAJOR cleanup between this an a final picture. I hope you like!
