I was going to wait till the event was over before starting this, but since it's taking a bit longer than expected, I'll go ahead and start now.


Scanlators, please comment here to let everyone know:

And if for some reason you can't finish a strip you claimed, let us know so someone else can pick it up!

As with last time, I'll link to "tracks" that are strips that were already translated.

Some of these have been redrawn, so I may still scan them. There's basic info here. I'm not sure... should I rescan the full thing including minor edits, or only ones with completely new drawings?

Pick and choose as you like. In the case of the "Hetalia-like Columns", you don't have to pick up every single one.

Also, I don't know if this might help anyone, but I was typing up the Japanese for the character profiles. It's not finished, but in case it's useful, they're here.

Most of this is old material with two Birz ep 13 pages, so it should be the 2020 Olympics comic and I'll probably scan the redrawn Christmas 2009 one and the first Birz page since it was edited.

Track 2: It's a Treasure Box of Countries (031-048)

I may scan this as the first 5 pages and a couple selected panels were redrawn

Track 3: Canada and the Neighbors (051-054)
Track 4: Germany, Coexisting (057-062)

Will scan this, much of it was redrawn

Track 5: The Life of the Great Man, the Awesome Me (065-068)

Will scan this, much of it was redrawn

Will scan at least the last page, as it was completely redrawn

About the suggestion on using the new designs in the manga that was originally from the monthly magazine, we can use the new designs from the volume scanlation, but also add a note about the chapter being already published from the magazine with a different art design for it in the form of a footnote.

I don't know if this has been already thought of by you and stated in the OP discussion but I'm using LJ on mobile so I can't refer back to OP, sorry!

Just a heads up, justalightrain took care of one of the omake comics (The Day After the Nordic Conference) though it will need to be retypesetted with the HQ scans you posted a few days ago.
